Biotope

Table grape vines need full sun exposure to ripen their fruit properly.

Ideally, they run along a staircase, a fence or a structure built for the purpose.

Vines need to be pruned annually to prevent them from spreading out and taking up more space than they should.

The ideal soil is well-drained, with a coarse, gravelly texture and a pH of 6.5.

Wood

Good wood for smoking food or barbecuing

Size and shape

When running vines on a fenced system, the vines should be planted 1 to 2 m apart along the row, with rows spaced 3 to 4 m apart.

Pollination

All our vines are self-fertilizing.

Source

We harvest our own vine cuttings from commercial orchards in Quebec.
