Fruit tree cuttings workshop

Approximate duration: 3 hours

During this workshop, you will be introduced to cutting fruit trees in a northern context. During the course, we'll go over the basics such as:

•     Equipment required;
•     Plant selection (species, cultivars, royalties and good phytosanitary practices);
•     Wood selection (stem age, width and length);
•     Conservation of cuttings;
•     Choice of potting soil;
•     Spring cuttings;
•     Summer cuttings.

We'll also learn how to take cuttings, and stick them in the soil.
